The laser equipment will be adjusted according to the color, thickness, and location of the hair being treated as well as your skin color. Based on these elements, cooling systems (if needed) will also be adjusted to provide less discomfort.
Next, your technician will emit a pulse of light to the treatment area, assessing the settings as well as monitoring your reaction. Given the settings are best for your treatment, the technician will proceed with the session and will check in with you as needed.
When the procedure is completed, anti-inflammatory creams or lotions will be provided to ease any post treatment irritation.
We recommend scheduling treatments 6 to 8 weeks apart (average time frame) and continuing treatments until hair growth is significantly reduced or has stopped. Keep in mind, the time between sessions may vary from patient to patient (up to 12 weeks apart). Your Laser technician will asses your response and adjust this time based on your specific needs.
Multiple sessions are required. The amount of sessions needed varies from patient to patient and between different body areas.
